Ms. Cañete is a Junior Associate at MN Law and holds dual qualifications as a registered nurse and a licensed attorney. She successfully passed the bar in 2020, gaining admission to the Philippine Bar in September of the same year. In addition to her legal accomplishments, Ms. Cañete has been a Registered Nurse since 2013.

Her academic journey led her to earn a Juris Doctor degree with a minor in International Law Practice from the University of San Carlos – School of Law and Governance. During this time, she completed a thesis titled “Thy ‘Will’ Be Done: A Study on the Feasibility of Admitting Video Recorded Wills in the Philippines, and its Legal Solution.” Furthermore, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Velez College, providing her with valuable firsthand experience in the field of medicine and health care law.

As a law student, Ms. Cañete not only excelled academically but also actively participated in extracurricular activities. She served as the third-year representative of USC Lex Circle, the official organization of USC law students, and held the position of former academic head of USC Bar Operations.

Ms. Cañete’s diverse legal experience includes serving as a Paralegal Intern at the City Legal Office in 2017, where she conducted legal research and drafted legal opinions. Additionally, she interned at the Registry of Deeds, focusing on voluntary and involuntary property transaction registrations. These experiences equipped her with valuable skills in legal matters, particularly in property registration and judicial titling.

Her expertise encompasses various legal domains, including business organization, labor law, family law, intellectual property law, property, and government compliance. Ms. Cañete’s multifaceted background and hands-on experience position her as a proficient legal professional with a comprehensive understanding of both law and healthcare.
